Northwest Elementary assimilates durable and cost efficient materials into a modern design to establish a conducive and safe learning environment. The design also integrates an abundant amount of windows into the façade therefore allowing natural light to pass into the classrooms which has been proven to boost learning performance. On the interior, the use of colors and patterns are incorporated into the school’s aesthetics as an organizational tool to help differentiate between grade levels and aid in traffic flow.

Included within the design of the 80,000 SF school is a gymnasium, cafetorium and 46 instruction units including art, media and music. Northwest Elementary was completed in the fall of 2007 and accommodates approximately 750 students.
